Operate as a Chief Warden
$440 + GST per person
This course is designed to provide Chief Wardens and Deputy Chief Wardens with the skills, knowledge and confidence to make decisions about the safety of occupants during a broad range of emergencies and facilities as considered in the Australian Standards 3745 and 4083.
Successful participants will receive a certificate of Completion from the Tasmania Fire Service.

Refresher training
While there is no mandatory requirement to undertake this training at prescribed intervals, it is recommended that participants reattend to update and refresh their knowledge.
The following are factors to consider when deciding if you should re-attend a Chief Warden course:
- How long ago did you complete Chief Warden training?
- Do you recall the roles and responsibilities of a Chief Warden?
- Have you changed worksites or have there been significant changes to the worksite?
- Have there been any changes in regulations that you should be aware of regarding the Chief Warden role?
Participants are encouraged to re-attend the full course to keep their knowledge and skills current. We do not offer a refresher version of this course.
