This course covers the different types of fires, types of extinguishers, operating extinguishers to ensure staff safety in an emergency.

Topics covered:

• The risk of fire, sources of ignition, and classes of fire
• Fire risk assessment
• Fire containment
• Safe use of portable extinguishers , fire blanket and hose reels

This training course includes both a theory and a practical component to ensure that your employees can safely handle small workplace fire incidents use of fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets.

Participants will gain hands-on practical experience with fire-fighting equipment (fire extinguisher, fire hose reel and fire blanket).
